Latest Beauty, Spa & Fashion news:

If you've inked without thinking, you will be pleased to know that you are not the only one!
Focus around tattoo removal has soared once again in the media with Tattoo Fixers currently on E4 and Tattoo Disasters on Channel Spike. In a culture where tattoo no longer means ‘forever’, we are now a nation of brave inkers who don’t mind experimenting with tattoo removal if things go wrong!
Lynton Lasers has seen figures double in the last year with clients who have requested tattoo removal a day or two after they have got their tattoo and before the skin has even healed post ink.
As recent as last week, Lauren Goodger revealed her latest tattoo, the name of her current beau on her wrist. A risky act, Goodger stated that her latest body art “can always be removed”. With a reputation of “removing” past lovers from her body, Lauren isn’t new to the tattoo removal process, she also had ex fiancé Mark Wright’s name removed from her body back in 2011.

Being in my late 30s, I had started seeing too many facial lines.  They were a lot more than sweet smile lines, in fact, more like I-had-a-tough-last-10-years lines! Here are some ideas on how to stay looking young!   When GP and Anti-Ageing expert Doctor Anil Budh-Raja (“Dr. Anil”) offered to do a case study with treatments on my face I happily accepted. I gave him the challenge to make me look at least 5 years younger in 2 easy steps.
Weather or not you think its easy would depend on how you feel about needles. Luckily I do not have a needle phobia.
At the first session I had Botox injections on my forehead, frown lines and smile lines around the eyes.   Dr Anil takes great pride in the “natural look”, to never put too much Botox in the face and especially to not ‘raise the eyebrow’ so that you look constantly surprised.
A week after the session I was very pleased with the results, I did not look frozen faced at all, as I smiled the millions of lines around my eyes and forehead had vanished.
2 weeks after my first session I was back for the second step in the challenge, having dermal fillers injected.   Dr Anil filled one deep frown line that Botox couldn’t beat. He also put filler in the ‘side of mouth’ lines and a very small amount in my lip to make it just that tiny bit more plump. There are numerous uses for botox, including botox for migraines!
The first few days with lip swelling I had the panic of will-I look-like-a-porn-star-forever thoughts. Lip swelling is common and was gone after a few days. I was very happy with the natural looking more plump youthful look to my face, not too much but still a remarkable difference. Would my friends notice? Many of them say I look different, that I look so fresh and fantastic.
Mission completed and the two step challenge successful!
Dr Anil recommends Botox every 3-4 month and fillers just once a year. I will follow his advice.
 Goodbye wrinkle face-hello twinkle face!

Paul Mckenna can: Change your life in 7 days & i can make you thin...

My husband bought me this book for my Birthday a couple of years ago and it's something I keep reading every now and again, in fact I seem to pick it up around the New Year in a bid to begin the year successful and it really does work.

Have you ever wondered why some people can just walk into a room and just light it up and have everyone drawn to them or people who seem to get all the men and women even though they are not particularly the best lookers? There are some people who have that certain quality or are just programmed for success.

In just seven days you can join those people who are programmed to succeed at whatever they do. Paul McKenna show's you some life changing techniques on how to master your emotions and run your own brain, to boost your confidence and become the person you want to be.

It's a fantastic book and comes with a mind programming CD (conscious and subconscious mind with a form of neuro linguistic programming) which you listen to every day. I believe it can be life changing if you read it, follow the techniques and listen to the CD. It certainly worked for me and whenever I feel like I need to, I just pick up the book and refresh myself.

Water which makes you Skinny, how?

At a price between £0.98p and £1.49 for a 500ml bottle of Ribena or any similar soft drink so you  can't really go wrong if you replace these with Bio Synergy's Skinny Water if you are trying to lose weight. At very similar prices each 500ml bottle contains less than 10K/Cal and has no added sugar

Its unique formula contains L-Carnitine and Chromium to reduce sugar cravings & improve the body's ability to burn fat.

L-Carnitine is found naturally in the body where it assists turning fat into energy. Chromium has been shown to assist the body to burn carbohydrates and reduce sugar cravings (and you don't need your calorie counter out!).

It comes in two flavours, Pomegranate and Grapefruit. Also in the range is Skinny Cola which metabolizes fat and contains no aspartame.

Our favourite is Skinny Water Grapefruit Dilute, this tasted like Lilt when added to chilled carbonated water. It's such a refreshing drink and seems to certainly suppress your appetite. You don't even feel like eating anything sugary for a while after.

The Trusted Beauty Guide says: "Skinny Water tastes good and reduces sugar cravings, anything extra is an added bonus, it costs near enough the same as many soft drinks so why not replace them with Skinny Water".

Summer 2014 has literally come and gone, quicker than sweaty Londoners gulping Pimm’s in the unusual heatwave. As usual, the summer brought some glitzy events, which I had to do some serious scrubbing up for.
I needed treatments that would last from May through to August, yet not look “over done” at May’s Cannes film Festival. A very glamorous occasion indeed, I definitely had to do some pre-glam prep before the screening of my friend Dan Simpson’s Film, 'The Rendlesham UFO Incident'.
The amazing anti-ageing expert Dr. Anil Budh-Raja gave me facial injections in form of the right dose of Botox - not too much – but enough to give a natural look, seeing as Dr Anil is also an experienced GP, I felt safe in his medical hands.
I also had an infrared laser facial treatment at the West London Dermatology Centre in Chiswick. A week after this treatment my face was glowing, looking visibly younger and tighter. After a gorgeous glam haircut and highlights by a super friendly stylist at Headmasters, I was ready to get into my red dress and literally FACE the party!

Dom Pérignon Reveals its exclusive end of year collaboration with designer Iris Van Herpen

It’s that time of the year where champagne flows after fashion shows as we enter fashion week season.
To mark the beginning of fashion week and the fast approaching end of 2014, prestige champagne brand Dom Pérignon, has revealed its exciting limited edition collaboration with designer Iris Van Herpen.
The Dutch fashion star's inspiration comes from the way Dom Pérignon champagne transforms over time. To celebrate the revolutionary metamorphosis of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2004 into its Second Plénitude, P2, she has created an intriguing limited edition bottle as well as signed gift boxes.
Throughout its history, Dom Pérignon has been intricately linked to the concept of metamorphosis. The spiritual legacy of Dom Pérignon constantly reinvents itself throughout the ages, selectively choosing when to emerge in the form of a new vintage and this time has now arrived.

In addition, Iris van Herpen has designed an exclusive, mesmerizing über-premium bottle-holder, titled Cocoonase, inspired by the importance of time in crafting Dom Pérignon vintages.  Agility and speed needed to pick the best grapes at their perfection versus the wine’s many potent years of maturation are vital in creating Dom Pérignon champagne. The elegant, horizontal bottle-stand Cocoonase highlights this duality of time to showcase the singularity of Dom Pérignon wines.

“Metamorphosis represents continued creation, energy and transformation,” said Richard Geoffroy, Dom Pérignon Chef de Cave. “This concept inspires the creation of our wines, in their active maturation and evolution from one plénitude, or window of expression, to the next.” Lets hope there are some amazing champagne cocktails on the horizon!
